Again, be prepared for this, so if you don't want the size increase then don't buy the Battery Grip. I absolutely love this, especially if using some of the longer or heavier lenses. Check the combined weight, but it puts the rig on Nikon or Canon full frame category! Of course the lenses are still smaller than FF Canon/Nikon, but don't buy the battery grip and batteries if you are weight sensitive - and if you do, then please don't complain that it is heavy !

As the new batteries are much larger than previously, having 2 of the new large batteries will add substantial weight to the camera body.

If you add up the costs, this is serious money and is comparable to buying a lens or even another camera!!!

The X-T4's battery grip is an expensive (over priced?) option, which should only be purchased after careful consideration.
